You don't need to travel to Mexico to enjoy Newport Beach's local Cabo! From the outside you may actually think you've gone South of the Border - the umbrellas on the rooftop, thatched roof, interior murals make it easy for visitors to be confused. The reason Cabo is a hot spot among peninsula locals: the 2 for 1 drinks 4-8 PM or 10:30 PM - 12:30 AM daily. It sounds like a joke, right? Fortunately for you, this is no joke. Cabo Cantina boasts one of the best happy hours on the Balboa Peninsula. Enjoy their tequilla heavy margaritas, large Carona beers, or monster nachos to start the night off. None of that sounds appetizing, Cabo has a large menu of burgers, burritos, tacos, beers and cocktails. In addition to their impressive nightly happy hour, on Tuesdays make sure you come by for their $5 all you can eat Taco Tuesday.



Cabo Cantina is a great place to stop by after laying at the beach or just walking the boardwalk. During the day you may see a family eating lunch, locals hanging out, and people out on their beach cruisers, but at night, the jukebox is on and the party is getting started.
