Have you ever watched the TV show Cheers? Have you ever wanted to walk into a bar and have everyone know your name? If so, Balboa Saloon is the place to go. Located at the end of the Balboa Peninsula behind the Fun Zone, this bar is the perfect mix of a sports and old school British pub. The clientele often ranges from locals just coming off a shift working in the harbor, to travelers in town for the holidays, to people just looking for a great time. The bar offers a variety of domestic and craft-brewed beers as well as pizza, sandwiches, and snacks to tide people over (be sure to check out the pickeled eggs - sounds unappetizing, but a favorite among the locals). The best news: the prices are unbelievably reasonable, the cocktails are plentiful, and they serve pitchers of beer all night!



The Saloon has it all - pool tables, darts, big screen TVs and a killer jukebox. It's the perfect place to get the night started, to finish the night, or to just catch a game any day of the week!
